Salone del Mobile.Milano
From 9th to 14th April Milan will be animated by creativity: the 58th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano opens. This edition will be particularly rich in presences and projects, with more than 205,000 square meters of exhibition space and more than 2,350 exhibitors, of which 550 are designers of the SaloneSatellite and 34% of foreign companies.
Over the years, the Salone del Mobile in Milan has become an essential event for professionals and design enthusiasts, not only because it is a showcase of excellence for Made in Italy, but also because it offers numerous opportunities to learn about cultures and worldviews through art, design and furniture.
The opening hours for operators are from 9.30 to 18.30 every day; Saturday and Sunday the Salone del Mobile will be open also to non-experts.
Five events will open at the same time at the Fiera Milano district in Rho, plus an entirely new exhibition format: together with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the Salone Internazionale del Complemento d’Arredo – divided into the Classic, Design and xLux stylistic types, there will also be the biennial Euroluce and Workplace3.0, and the SaloneSatellite. At the first edition, instead, the S.Project, a transversal space dedicated to design products and decorative and technical solutions of interior design.
The central theme on which the entire Salone del Mobile will develop is ingenuity. On the one hand, this element is to be interpreted both as an essential feature of Milan, which thanks to the brilliant minds of those who live and work there has managed to become great all over the world. On the other hand, as a homage to Leonardo da Vinci, a multifaceted genius who Milan celebrates 500 years after his death for his ability to dialogue with the great patrons of the time, to leave the city the highest results of his research and the visible signs of twenty years of Milanese works of genius.
Milano Good Design showrooms will be present at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2019 to collect ideas and ideas and to discover all the design trends that will characterise the years to come, to offer customers customised projects in the name of style and quality.
